İstanbul Plak is one of the oldest music publishing companies of Turkey, established in 1963 and based in Unkapanı, Istanbul. Its owners are Mustafa and Mehmet Söğütoğlu; the latter is famous for having discovered the worldwide known Turkish pop star, Tarkan.
Besides Tarkan, İstanbul Plak published the works of such famous artists like Orhan Gencebay, Zeki Müren or rock singer Teoman.
